Project Manager: Clinical Education and Training

El Futuro is currently hiring a full-time Clinical Education and Training Project Manager. This position provides logistical and administrative support to training and capacity building programming aimed at supporting El Futuro as well as external providers across North Carolina in working with the Latinx community.

 

This position works out of the Durham office and is currently remote/hybrid and can continue in the capacity long term.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Technical Assistance Projects

  • Maintain communication with partner sites and manage outcome data.
  • Prepare team meeting agenda and coordinate action items to ensure project deliverable targets are being met.
  • Attend partner site meetings as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for and develop strategies to meet program deliverables and participate in gathering data in order to present program outcomes to funding entities and agency leadership.
  • Support program growth and expansion through collaboration with Clinical Content Development staff. 

 

Training and Educational Projects

  • Manage content and design for all training-related web pages.
  • Provide support in all coordination and communication related to La Mesita programming, including monthly webinars, in-service and other training, Learning Cohorts, ECHO Teleconsultation Clinics, and the online La Mesita Network.
  • Provide technical support during live events, including monthly webinars, in-service and other training, Learning Cohorts, ECHO Teleconsultation Clinics, and the online La Mesita Network.
  • Develop and maintain Project-related team meeting agendas and help coordinate action items to ensure project deliverable targets are being met. 
  • Manage all social media and partner site communication related to La Mesita.
  • Maintain protocols and procedures for La Mesita-related programming.
  • Meet regularly with and work in conjunction with Training, Education and Consultation Services Team.
  • Assume responsibility for and develop strategies to meet program deliverables and participate in gathering data in order to present program outcomes to funding entities and agency leadership.
  • Participate in strategic planning to support program growth and expansion.
  • Annually, lead effort to report out La Mesita progress to important partner organizations and individuals.
  • Work in conjunction with other teams as needed to complete projects.
  • Work with accreditation organizations to coordinate provision of continuing education for programming.

 

Departmental Program Support

  • Cross train on Training Education and Consultation Services project manager tasks to ensure adequate program coverage.
  • Work with other project managers and identified staff to coordinate and execute biannual conference/symposium activities.
  • Increase capacity of programs via a La Mesita intern position.

 

General Responsibilities of El Futuro Staff:

  • Participate actively in monthly All Staff Meetings.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by following through on tasks, taking initiative, working with the team and identifying solutions.
  • Adhere to affiliate policies and procedures including meetings and training requirements, ensuring punctuality and attendance, and following personnel policies.
  • Play an active role in the continued development of El Futuro’s work via participation in fundraising and other agency-wide activities. 
  • Be a team player who is ready to support other duties as assigned, in consultation with your supervisor and priority tasks.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, psychology, social work, management, or related field OR equivalent training and experience.
  • Advanced computer skills including the use of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Powerpoint, etc), Google Executive Suite, Qualtrics, iECHO, and Canva. 
  • General knowledge of data gathering, storing, and management procedures. 
  • Ability to think strategically, to consider the potential impact of programmatic decisions, and to respond to diverse programmatic needs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, leaders, and funders regarding program goals and outcomes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to self-monitor program deliverables and outcomes.
  • Experience working with video-conferencing platforms and online scheduling platforms.
  • Strong, effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm about working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Team-oriented as well as self-motivated to meet goals.
  • Flexibility, creativity and a spirit of collaboration to address developing programmatic needs.
  • Bilingual English-Spanish preferred
