Project Manager for Training, Education and Consultation (TECS)

El Futuro is currently hiring a full-time Project Manager for TECS. This position is responsible for the development, management, and coordination of projects aimed at helping expand behavioral health consultation, technical assistance and educational services for the Latino community in North Carolina and beyond. This position primarily supports projects related to the Advancing Latino Mental health Access (ALMA) programs along with other TECS departmental projects as assigned. This position is hybrid, mostly remote with one day a week in the Durham office. The work schedule may also include an occasional evening or weekend. The annual salary for this position starts at $54,000.00. Key Functions: Advancing Latine Mental Health Project
- Manage program inquiries and referrals.
- Manage communication and logistics with partner sites and collaborators regarding services.
- Manage and renew any relevant Memoranda of Understanding and/or service contracts with community partners.
- Coordinate project meetings to ensure deliverables are on track.
- Managing program participant engagement through activities including registration, monitoring and adminstration of evaluation activities, among other tasks.
- Set meeting agendas and take minutes, sharing minutes with meeting attendees.
- Travel to partner sites as needed to provide technical assistance for program facilitation.
- Work in collaboration w/ team members to achieve programmatic goals.
- Communicate with partner sites about program delivery and logistics.
- Facilitate regular check-ins with El Futuro and program staff re: progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Track project outcomes and generate reports.
- Support Program Lead in preparing for consultations/trainings including creating promotional materials, developing surveys, creating/formatting/revising/editing presentation materials, and preparing handouts.
- Support project logistics and technology needs, including asynchronous learning opportunities and development of La Mesita/ALMA website to create accessible portal to promote Latine mental health information and tools.
- Track financial and budgeting data and prepare related financial reports.
La Academia
- Coordinate project meetings to ensure deliverables are on track.
- Set meeting agendas and take minutes, sharing minutes with meeting attendees.
- Work in collaboration with team members to achieve programmatic goals.
- Track project outcomes and generate reports.
- Manage participant registration and utlization of offered services.
- Update and track participant information.
- Contribute to program scheduling and coordianting efforts.
- Communcating regularly with participants about scheduled programming.
- Support project logistics and technology needs.
Training Education and Consultation Services Department Support
- Cross-train on Training Education and Consultation project manager tasks to ensure adequate program coverage.
- Work with other project managers and identified staff to coordinate and execute biannual conference/symposium activities.
General Responsibilities of El Futuro Staff:
- Participate actively in monthly All Staff Meetings.
- Contribute to a positive work environment by following through on tasks, taking initiative, working with the team, and identifying solutions.
- Play an active role in the continued development of El Futuro’s work via participation in fundraising and other agency-wide activities.
- Be a team player who is ready to support other duties as assigned, in consultation with your supervisor and priority tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, psychology, social work, management, or related field OR equivalent training and experience.
- Advanced computer skills including the use of Microsoft Programs (Excel, Powerpoint, etc), Google Executive Suite, Qualtrics, etc.- required
- Bilingual English-Spanish written and spoken language skills-required
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate evening/weekend program activities, required
- General knowledge of data gathering, storing, and management procedures.
- Ability to think strategically, to consider the potential impact of programmatic decisions, and to respond to diverse programmatic needs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, leaders, and funders regarding program goals and outcomes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to self-monitor program deliverables and outcomes.
- Detail-oriented.
- Experience working with video-conferencing platforms and online scheduling platforms.
- Strong, effective communication skills.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm about working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Team-oriented as well as self-motivated to meet goals.
