Alondra Esquivel

Clinical Case Manager

Alondra Esquivel was born and raised in Charlotte and later moved to the Triangle area shortly after graduating college in search of opportunities in the human services field. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services. Throughout her life, she often translated for her parents and saw firsthand the comfort and relief people feel when they are able to communicate in their own language. That experience inspired her passion for helping Spanish-speaking communities access support, understanding, and care without language barriers. Before joining El Futuro, Alondra worked as a bilingual crisis counselor and completed her internship in child advocacy, where she developed a strong interest in supporting individuals and families through difficult situations with compassion and empathy. She is excited to continue that work at El Futuro because of its commitment to creating a safe and welcoming space for primarily Spanish-speaking communities. Outside of work, Alondra enjoys building LEGO sets and watching cop cam videos and long Walking with her basset hound named Chester. A recent book she enjoyed reading is Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult, and one song she currently loves is Relax My Eyes by ANOTR and Abel Balder.
