At April 15th, Annual Health Care Heroes Awards, Triangle Business Journal will honor the individuals and organizations that serve our community by putting innovation and compassion to improve Latino families’ conditions.

Triangle Business Journal announced the winners of this 2021 Health Care Heroes Awards, among them is our Executive Director, Luke Smith; with his extraordinary career, he has helped thousands of Latino families overcome mental and emotional barriers through the work he does at the El Futuro clinic, a non-profit organization that he founded in 2004.

Luke has chosen from a pool of nominees whose applications were submitted online for the community’s consideration. Winners include doctors, nurses, volunteers, and administrators.

The winners will be awarded next April 15 in a virtual event. You can get a ticket to attend this very special time by visiting the Triangle Business Journal website to purchase your tickets.

During the event, this year’s categories include recognition for frontline workers fighting to prevent Covid-19. A moment that, without a doubt, you won’t want to miss.

After the celebration, you will be able to find Luke Smith’s profile as part of a special section in the TBJ edition, where you can learn a little more about Luke’s work at the El Futuro clinic. Also, you can find his profile on this website through the “our staff” menu.
