Ange Tanas
Community Mental Health Worker
Ange was born in Bogotá, Colombia. She is an architect in her country and a proud mother of a son who is currently attending university. She came to the United States seeking new opportunities and to experience other cultures. Along the way, she discovered her vocation of service to the community. With training and certifications as a Community Health Worker and Adult Mental Health First Aid, Ange has dedicated her time and effort to training in various areas to provide a comprehensive service to the community in Wake, Durham, and Orange Counties. Today, Ange fulfills her dream of being part of the El Futuro team, where she hopes to continue contributing her experience, with equity, to empower and bring visibility to the Latino community.
