Dayana Bermudez, MSW, LCSWA

ADHD Family Support Specialist

Dayana is originally from Mexico City and has lived in North Carolina for over a decade. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina State University and pursued her Master’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. Dayana has over six years of experience serving Hispanic and immigrant communities in the triangle, with a focus on trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and family advocacy. Her background includes roles in community mental health, case management, and integrated behavioral healthcare, including international work and leadership roles at Compass Center. She has worked in a variety of settings, including domestic violence agencies, early childhood programs, and primary care clinics. Dayana came to work at El Futuro to continue supporting Hispanic families through culturally responsive, community-centered mental health services. Dayana is excited to work closely with families of children with ADHD to strengthen understanding, connection, and access to resources. She enjoys traveling, dancing, listening to music, baking, and spending time with loved ones.
